The 9th day of the 9th lunar month in the Year of Wood Snake is a special date in Eastern traditional culture, known as the Trùng Cửu (Double Ninth Day), symbolizing longevity, fulfillment, and prosperity.
The number nine is widely regarded as the number of completion and the pinnacle, symbolizing an auspicious and enduring new beginning. Therefore, NOVITA chose this date to hold the Kiln Lighting Ceremony – a traditional event in the ceramics industry.
By choosing this date for the Kiln Lighting Ceremony, NOVITA wishes for this first fire to not only activate the production line but also to be a flame of belief, will, and aspiration – illuminating the path to preserve, honor, and spread Vietnamese cultural values to the world through every decorative tile that bears the NOVITA name.
